5 Years, 1 Baby

Today is me and Andrew's 5 year wedding anniversary.  I'm pretty sure we thought our 5 year anniversary would be spent at the same swanky place we spent our honeymoon (the Blantyre in Massachusetts).  Instead we are thankful that Andrew's mom and sister are taking care of Lyla for a few hours so we can go to Wegman's and pick up goodies to have a picnic on our own.  Don't get me wrong--we definitely anticipated we would have a baby by now....we just didn't realize the vast of amount of time (...and money) that babies require!  I'm looking forward to a few hours sans baby--Lyla has been a bear in this heat.  But as much as I need a break, I can't help but feel a little sad that she won't be joining us on our picnic.  She truly completes our little family!
